Jayne Constantinis - Voice - Jayne Constantinis

Jayne in the BBC continuity ‘booth’ in the 1990s.

Jayne honed her voice-over skills on the stage and on national television as a BBC continuity announcer. This live, frequently ‘seat of the pants’ experience makes her an adaptable and reliable performer in the broadcast and corporate worlds (see below), including on promotional DVDs (AXA), digital/online (Channel 4, Sky, What Car?), talking books (RNIB) and radio (BBC Radio 4, Classic FM).

Jayne’s Yorkshire origins give her voice a warm and accessible quality. This, combined with a natural tone of authority is why she excels at technical subjects with complicated terminology such as in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors.

BBC audience research reveals her to be ‘believable’, ‘trustworthy’, ‘warm’ and ‘intelligent’.

Why use Jayne for your voice over?

Highly experienced and professional – 30 years in the business
Specialist in complex/sensitive subjects
Memorable and distinctive voice
Flexible – takes direction well
Attention to detail
Adds value on scripting/content issues

Jayne has a beautiful voice, a natural style which is warm and authoritative, and she delivers near perfect performances every time. There’s no doubt that her experience and professionalism has played a significant part in helping the What Car? Video road tests become so successful. Having auditioned several voice over artists, none were so enthusiastic or produced such flawless recordings, just a couple of the reasons we book her on a regular basis.
